Can't activate my mods after new update.

    I found how to fix this after an hour of repairing my game.

    Repairing the game did not the trick. But I realized that the GameVersion file in my Documents folder were not the same as the real game version.

    If you have the same problem, check in Documents>ElectronicArts>TheSims4 et find the GameVersion file. Open it, and see what number is written.

    Open you game. Check at the bottom of the home page of your game. If the game versions are different, change the one in the file you opened just before for it to match the one written in your game. Worked for me.

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Discover Uni, Island living, get famous, seasons, cats & dogs, city living, get together, get to work, realm of magic, jungle adv, parenthood, vampires, dine out , spa day, outdoor retreat, pets stuff, laundry day , toddler stuff, fitness stuff, bowling, backyard, kids stuff, movie, kitchen and patio stuff.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? It happens when the game has finished launching and loads to the home screen
What happens when the bug occurs? Like normal when the game has an update the mods gets disabled, getting the popup saying you can re-enable them in options. Except this time I tick my enable custom content and mods (and script mods. Apply my choices and restart the sims game, but its like the game never excepts what I just ticked when my mods are in the mod folder. Now it just gives me the same pop up about enable mods over and over again. I have tried several things but only removing my mods is where I wont get this pop up which defeats the meaning of the pop up since its broken. even just one mod will cause this issue. PLEASE PLEASEPLEASE HELP ME! ☹️

    @ntsmstarztwiggie if you look in Documents > The Sims 4, does it say 1.67.45.1020 in GameVersion.txt ?

      Oh wait does this mean my version isn't actually up to date? Thats strange because in game at the bottom of the launch page it did say version1.67.45.1020 🤨

      @simvasiondo you think I should try deleting the txt file to let the game generate a new one? 🤔

        @ntsmstarztwiggie maybe, although I think I saw someone who had the same issue earlier and they fixed it by changing the number in the GameVersion.txt to match 1.67.45.1020. You should try that before deleting it as another option.
