Can't Ask To Be Boyfriend / Girlfriend, The Sims 4

I saw a question like this but it wasn't completely answered (what to do)

I have 2 teen sims. They have 100% friendship and romance. One has been in a previous relationship and broke up with the sim long ago, none is in a relationship. I get the conversation to steamy but ask to be bf/gf option never pops up. They've kissed and messed around, and want to be together I've tried on dates, tried on normal mode, tried on different locations and from both sims but the option does not pop up. What do i do???

    Hey!!

    I used the relationship destroy cheat on the sims that were supposed to be together and started all over again. The option popped up and they are now together.

    Thanks for ALL your help and telling me about the cheat.

    Did you get an error message when trying to delete the old relationship or did that not help with the issue ?

    the relationship is deleted, but as you said it didn't help me solve the problem

    Are they both in the same household ? Have you tried both Sims ?

    Yes, they're in the same household. And yes, i have tried both sims.

    Does either have any other romantic relationships showing ? When you have them ask each other if they already are in a relationship, what do they say ?

    they say that they're single (both sims) and nobody is in a current relationship

    Then I really see no reason why it's not working.

    Care to share your save game ? If so, please zip your savesfolder, upload to mediafire or dropbox and PM me the link. Please include info which save game (name) and family I need to look at.

    It's my sister's game and she doesn't allow me to share my game ☹️ idk why
