1, Check if you have enough free space on the drive
Messages that you are getting from Origin often have nothing to do with the real problem.
2. Select option reboot of the computer and after this try launch the game as Administrator
Right-click on the game icon and select "Run as Administrator"
3. Fix the game in Origin
Origin / My game library - right-click on TS4 - option "repair game"
You have to wait until Origin will fix all packs, not only the base game.
4. If you have MSI Afterburner - disable it.
The same applies to the Nahimic2 program.
5. The last not too best option is reinstalling the game

I've had this same problem with my sims 4. I've tried for almost a week trying to get sims working. Other games work fine, and my gf who shares my origin account with me can play it with no problems. I have noticed that if I look in the "Program Files (86x)" "Origin Games" "Sims 4" that I have no sims4.exe where in other games I'd have that game with .exe, I've tried so many things including allowing apps through fire wall, uninstalling origin and sims, and many others but still no luck. I've seen posts on this since 2015/16 so obviously this has been around for years and still no fix to it which is pretty stupid and almost lazy by EA I think for it to still be a problem. I'm just annoyed that its obviously not my computer because other games work fine.
