Cant launch Sims 4

I am beyond confused right now. I updated The Sims and then launched it just fine. Once it loaded up, it said the game needed to be restarted so I clicked restart. After the game closed, I tried everything to pull it back up. The Play button is grayed out where it can't be clicked. It will not let me uninstall. I've exited and reentered Orgin many times. Nothing is working. It won't let me do anything. Any advice?
