Cant move anything into my sims 4 mods folder

Recently I've gotten a friend of mine a sims 4 game and today I was planning on giving her my mods folder. The previous day we tried downloading custom content and noticed that we couldn't add in the custom content that we downloaded. At the time, we brushed it off because we thought it was nothing. Fast forward to today and its still having the same problem, whenever we try to move something into our mods folder it doesn't work we have tried moving it out of The sims 4 folder but it doesn't allow us to. Its not a problem with the computer she has because you can move stuff with no issue. We have tried repairing the game and everything. Please help us.

    @0ashlee026  It's possible that your friend's antivirus program is trying to "protect" the Documents directory (with the Sims 4 folder inside) by blocking access.  That's not usually a problem when moving files manually, but it's still possible.  Your friend can try changing the antivirus program's settings, or just disabling it temporarily to see if that is in fact the issue.

    Another possibility is that your friend has OneDrive enabled and set to automatically sync the contents of Documents with cloud storage, and either OneDrive is full or it's not working correctly.  Either way, your friend can try disabling the auto syncing of Documents or turning off OneDrive entirely.
