Can't open or uninstall The Sims 4.

I was thinking that maybe it was a custom content issue so I deleted some of it, but the game still wouldn't open. I tried repairing it about 5 times, but nothing. I then hesitantly tried uninstallin...

    @4272445841257445  The fact that the game works once you've moved your user folder means something in that folder is the problem.  The most likely culprit is mods, so test those first in the new folder.  Test them in batches, or use the 50/50 method if you have a lot of files to sort through:

    Once you've done that, you can move over the contents of saves, Tray (saved households and builds), plus Screenshots and Recorded Videos if they matter to you.  The other files and folders can be discarded; the game will create new ones as necessary.
