can`t play game because origin not working

I tried a few darn times last night to, play both this game and the sims 3 to log myself into the offline stuff, but then some adware thingy does not let me finish logging in... I just kept trying to play around with my installed programs....now if I uninstall this will I still have my packs I purchased prior to uninstalling if I that? or will I have to repurchase these? my computer had apparently gone on something that installed this stupid thingy on there but not sure what I had clicked on.... seriously, I just want to be able to play my  sims again!
