Can't play The Sims 4

Hello, when I try to play The Sims 4, it says, "The save game you are attempting to load was saved with a newer version of The Sims 4 than is currently installed. Please update in order to safely load this save game." I can't update the game anymore than it already is on Origin. It won't let me play my previous household and when I click the play button it takes me to Create-a-Sim. I already uninstalled Origin, restarted my computer, repaired the game on Origin, and nothing has worked. It doesn't give me the option to update my game so I don't know what to do. Have any idea how to fix this?
