Hey guys, I've been having an issue with quitting my game, when I try to do that it freezes. Whether by saving and quitting or just quitting directly the screen just freezes and I have to restart the computer to be able to go to my desktop.
And it started happening way before the infants update.
I don't have any mods, but I do have a bunch of CC.
@lilaaaaaaaaaaali Does your computer run Windows or macOS? If Windows, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.

If you have a Mac, please post its full specs: everything under About This Mac including the OS and except for the serial number.

@lilaaaaaaaaaaali Right, sorry, I should have remembered. (It's been a long week already, and there's still so much to go.) As a test, please try playing in a clean user folder. Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, and when you launch the game, if it launches, a clean folder will spawn with no content. (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you moved but temporarily not read by the game.) Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just start a new save, save your progress at least once, and see whether you can quit without the game freezing.
If it does freeze, you can click ctrl-alt-delete and choose Sign Out, which will boot you to the Windows sign-in window. This is healthier for your computer than manually shutting down or restarting it.
