Can't repair game: "The EA app requires full control permissions"

Hey,

I tried to launch the game and it said some files are corrupted and should be easily fixed by repairing it.

Repairing always stops at 80% and says "Failed to create folder - The EA app requires full control permissions to create this folder. Reach out to EA Help for more information. Folder path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 4\".

I added the EADesktop.exe and the TS4_DX9_x64.exe as exceptions for Ransomware on Avast, as well as all other Sims 4 or EA related folders.

I cleared the cache both in my folder and on the EA app.

I tried to launch the EA app "as administrator".

Nothing helped. The error keeps occuring.

I don't have any mods or CC at all.
