Can't Save, Manage Worlds, Buildmode, Travel etc.

Gallerixia​  If you click alt-F4, do you get a prompt to save?  Try it and if it works, save your progress and let the game close.

If this happens again in this save, please try a different one.  It's possible that the save just got stuck, but it's also possible the problem is something at the system level, in which case a new save would likely be affected as well.

Upon trying to exit the game the promt just said 'something is preventing your game from saving are you sure you want to exit?' 

My event progress was saved but nothing else was but it managed to save when I was playing today to regain lost progress in my sims careers / aspirations. 

Don't know the cause. Hope it doesn't happen again. 

Gallerixia​  I hope it doesn't happen as well, but let me know if it does, and we can try to figure it out.  The game does just get stuck sometimes for no apparent reason, but fortunately, these episodes tend to be one-offs rather than an ongoing problem.
