Can't Save, Manage Worlds, Buildmode, Travel etc.

Usually this happens when there's an event like a fire or a death on the lot but none of that is happening.  I cant travel with Sims, Save, Save as.., Manage worlds, Buildmode, view gallery.. nothin...

Gallerixia​  I hope it doesn't happen as well, but let me know if it does, and we can try to figure it out.  The game does just get stuck sometimes for no apparent reason, but fortunately, these episodes tend to be one-offs rather than an ongoing problem.
