Cant start new game with new map

Whenever I press New Game and create my sim I am unable to choose the season and start in a new map. I start on one of my old maps, which happens to be my "build map", so all the lots in Willow Creek are empty, and there are no families.

ALSO. Not long ago I deleted all the lots in every world. I saved and quit, but when I loaded the save, one of my older saved was loaded instead, and all the lots whas there again. 

Help?

    Hi @Traarjo

    have you tried repairing your game through Origin yet (right click on the game in Origin and press repair) ?

    Are you using any custom content or mods in your game ?
