Cant uninstall the CAS Demo

When I go to uninstall it warns me it will uninstall my Sims 4 Packs. I need to uninstall  cause I think it's causing the EA App not to be able to download new packs.

@catloverplayer  Try uninstalling the CAS Demo with Revo Uninstaller (the free version is fine).  Revo should target the CAS Demo only, but just in case, double-check the lists of files and folders Revo finds for anything you'd like to keep.  You can deselect only that data and allow Revo to remove the rest.

The quick and dirty option is to simply delete the CAS Demo folder.  When you do this, make sure the EA App is closed and the EABackgroundService is NOT running in the Task Manager.  This won't remove registry entries and other hidden data, but it's unlikely that the leftover data will cause any problems going forward.  I just use Revo because I like to clean up.

    @puzzlezaddict Really unistalling the cas demo isn't supposed to delete your packs just the demo so there is a bug that is causing this I hope will get addressed.

    I'm using a Windows 10 PC. This demo is the reason for the EA App not seeing your downloads even though you own them. I'm tired of having to use Origin to download. I've never heard of revo but I shouldn't need a 3rd party solution to something that could be fixed.

      @catloverplayer  I'm not saying you're wrong, but EA is unlikely to do anything about this problem.  It first showed up over a year ago and has been on EA's radar for almost as long; it became a major issue with the forced migration to the EA App in March.  You can check out this very long master thread (which doesn't have all of the earliest posts) if you're interested:

      It's possible that EA has decided that since this can be solved on the user side, and there are more critical bugs and technical issues with the EA App that haven't been addressed, this is not worth fixing.  The flow of posts has definitely slowed over the last few months, as affected players have resolved the issue, so at this point it might be a reasonable if not ideal position for the EA App team to take.

      Point is, you can solve this yourself if you want.  If you'd prefer not to remove the CAS Demo, just rename the folder.  Make sure the EA App is closed and the EABackgroundService is NOT running in the Task Manager before you try to change the name.
