Also, I've just removed the mods folder from the Electronic Arts folder but still have the same issue. The goal is not being completed after my sim finishes in the chair and I can't progress ☹️

Well, unfortunately, it looks like you have to do a game reset. You will not lose anything in the process.
Go to Dokumenty / Electronic Arts / The Sims4
Change the name of the game to The Sims4 old. Turn on the game The game will create a new TS4 folder.
Delete the following folders: "saves" and Tray from the newly created TS4 folder
Go to the old game folder and copy the "saves" folder - right click on the folder - option - copy. Next right click on the new game folder - option - paste.
Do the same with the Tray folder.
Now you can delete the old The Sims4 folder and turn on the game.
I hope that the error will disappear.
