Cas Demo Black Screen (with llama face)

Having the same problem as everyone else here. The demo itself takes around 20 minutes to actually open before I get the Sims 4 screen and intro video, after that it becomes a black screen which doesn't change at all and I get the little llama picture if I right click in certain areas of the screen. I left the demo running in the hope it was just slow but after an hour and a half nothing had changed. I did notice (while getting the info you have asked others for) that one of the files had sims3package at the end of it, I'm not sure if that makes a difference but I would have thought it shouldn't be installing as anything to do with the sims 3. ( I am not the most technical person so I just thought I would mention that.). Here is hopefully the info needed ....

Just a quick add on, I went into my documents and the Electronic Arts folder to peek inside the demo one and a couple of the files are definitely showing as Sims3 packages. I'm wondering if this might be the problem and if anyone else has it?

Still not fixed with the latest update. This is getting annoying. I don't think I will be buying Sims 4.

can you go to your documents folder to thesims4casdemo one and check if your files show up as Sims 3 package files or as package files (the package ones, make sure it's detailed view)
