Cast & Crew not coming over after being invited

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
What is your current game version number? 1-47-51-1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? nearly all of them apart from vampires...pets...laundry day....jungle adventure.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Try and invite cast and crew over using the phone or computer.
What happens when the bug occurs? cast and crew don't show up...no message as to why...can't complete task.
What do you expect to see? cast and crew turning up at my sims house.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. November patch.

    Ok....this seems to have cured itself....why I don't know,but my sim invited them again and they turned up....weird.

    I started having this issue when moved to one of the San Myshuno apartments. Turns out the director and some co-stars didn’t even try to go to my house, they were just downstairs eating in a food stall. I couldn’t know which ones they were so I started asking everyone about they’re careers and found out.

    @crinrict Thanks for the tip, but I don't know about the co worker tab. Only to invite and prep for the gig). They just rock up to the house without labels and dressed in their civvies. just their names show above their heads, I know pretty much which ones are from the studio, but often get the wrong one and have to keep picking others for ages until I get that ping! If Judith Reyna (previously Ward) is there, I always go to her first and usually it IS her, but not always. Hard work with such little time and so many actors in my house! :D. I've often had to invite again to get it right.

    @Gednaa Is in the relationships where you can sort by groups (households, friends, ..) so you know which Sims are working with you. It's really just to know which of the Sims are your co-workers but if you already know, you don't need to check there.
