When the Sims 4 Cats and Dogs came out I had bought it and it worked fine. But now it says I don't have it and have to buy it again. And when I try to re-buy it, it says 'An error occurred. Please try again later. [ref. #validation-failed]' Can someone help?

It seems you logged in to Origin with another account. Login with the account that you have the Sims 4 on.
Then you need to contact a Game Advisor.
Did you ever get it fixed? I'm having a similar issue.
