cc broke my sims 4 game

Hi. I am new to the Sims 4 but have been playing for about a month and a half. I have city living, kitchen stuff, and outdoor retreat. I was really enjoying it and had made two sims that had already had kids, really advanced in their careers, etc. I had gotten the Discover University pack and was really excited to use it but decided to get my first cc from a large Tumblr post that had content that looked base game. I got quite a lot of things and made a sim in a new world that I was really proud of. When I finally bought a house and played, the game would not let me move her or do anything. The bar at the bottom that shows her needs, face, name, aspirations, were blank. She moved around by herself just fine though. I closed the game to see if needed to restart. I came back and it was the same except this time and she wasn't even in the picture of the household when you go to select which family to play. I backed up my game ( I am new and did not know that could be done until I was searching what was wrong) and deleted all the cc from my sims 4 game by going to my files and pressing delete on all the cc. I went back in the game and the same thing was still happening except she had no cc on. I then made another sim in another world without any cc and the game did not work either. I have found no site that has talked about this problem. If anyone has instructions so that I can properly inspect and troubleshoot the problem you would be a lifesaver. I want to keep the original family I ever played with though but I do have a backup form when my game went berzerk. I took some photos in the game of what had happened but couldn't find it sorry, I am not very good with computers.

Sorry for the long message, a 15-year-old simmer.

After each update, most scripts mods and a large part CC will be spoiled and will spoil the game. Before you download something you have to check on the page of mods creator if these mods and CC are not too old. Checking what broke down this time after the patch, and replacing these broken ones by a new updated version or deleting these is the price the player pays for using CC and mods
    1. Move the mods folder to the desktop.
    2. Find and delete localthumbcache.package file in the game folder. Delete also all folders with the word "cache" in the name.
    3. Fix the game in Origin.
    Origin/Library - right-click on TS4 - option "Repair game"
You have to wait until Origin will fix all packs, not only the base game.
    4. Turn on the game to create a new, empty mods folder and check if the game is working now properly without mods
    5. Check if there are new updated versions of the mods and CC you are using.
Then copy from desktop your mods and CC and paste it in the new mods folder. First, paste script mods one by one every time checking if the game is OK.
Do the same with CC but if you have a lot of this, try the 50/50 method. divide your CC into smaller batches for example 50 pieces in one subfolder and check these subfolders one by one)
