Game crashing after new update

So I have been playing the sims 4 all winter break and it has been doing fine until the update on the 13th. Granted, my laptop has been wonky for several months, but the game has been running fine until now. I had the game open on the main menu for 30 minutes and it didn't crash, but as soon as I get into the game it'll run for a minute, freeze, and then close. I deleted my mod folder (which didn't have much) and that didn't help. I included the DxDiag. I know I need a new laptop but I've been holding out since this one could still run the sims :(

If that doesn't help, please do a clean uninstall and reinstall of the graphics driver, as a bad driver is another common cause of breakpoint errors.  Here's how:

Use the newest driver HP provides for your laptop.  Go here:

Enter your serial number, choose your OS (just Windows 11 is fine) if prompted, click All Drivers, expand Driver-Graphics, and download the newest Intel driver by version number.  The first number matters most, e.g. 32 is newer than 31; after that, the last four numbers matter.
