CC Hair Temporarily Freezes

Recently upgraded my laptop, only to find that some of my Custom Content Hairs will freeze the game in CAS for a few seconds. Every time I change anything on a Sim (jewelry, clothes, etc.) with said hairs on, the game will also freeze for a moment. I have updated my drivers, repaired the game in Origin, and cleared cache. It only happens with some hairs, others are completely fine.

With cc it can be difficult to say exactly why it does this as they are not technically part of the game. CC can be bad, I would suggest downloading the software that checks for this. It may also be because much CC especially alpha has a very high polygon count which is hard for some machines to keep up with, so this can affect the game depending on your specs and how high your setting are this may also be your problem.
