CC showing up in CAS but not in game

Hi,

I'm hoping someone will be able to help me. After the Sims 4 updates for Eco Lifestyle my game hasn't been working right. All my sims in my main save have their CC removed in game, when I go into CAS I can see all the CC no problem. I've been able to apply it to new sims and see them in game but nothing has worked so far in getting the CC back onto all my previous sims. I've tried repairing my game. I've tried deleting cache files. I've tried removing my mods folder and restarting the game and doing the half and half method to see if I can find one specific thing causing it and no luck so far. Although admittedly the half and half method is tricky to use as a check when the problem is that everyone is naked and bald!

I fear I'll have no other option but to try and remember what all my sims had on them and just redo it all but that will take ages and I know I won't be able to get them back to how they were. I'm kicking myself because the first thing I did after the patch updates was build (because ladders) so I saved my game before I realised the CC issue and now I suspect there's nothing to be done.
