Chat window appears to others as inactive.

Hi,

My chatwindow appears inactive to others but to me it seems on and i can type in it.

Result is that people react to my creations and so weird conversations occure since i type in their personal chat.

I did open a ticket and followed the instructions but it did not work. (deactivate, log out, activate etc)

Game repair did nothing.

Anyone have a clue what's going on?

    I don't really know what influences the setting, tbh.

    I forwarded this to a CM and you'll hopefully get more info tomorrow.

    At the moment people even make creations with warnings on them to warn eachother. Something must be wrong.

    Not sure what you mean by warnings.

    I've checked your profile and it's says that you have disabled commenting.

    It' doesn't seem to be a general issue as I can find many where I can comment just fine.

    Can you check the following settings in Origin

    • Account/Privacy: Who can see your profile ?

    Everyone, but my real name i dont show ofcourse (many with me i bet) And finding me on email adress is switched off too (personal reasons) aswell as origionpoints and achievements.

    t.b.h. I'm a very private person. Switching to "all can see me makes me uncomfty but i did for this issue.

    Please look at the household with the title  "attention please" in gallery, maybe it helps.

    I think many don't know its switched off and just wonder why they get ignored cause to the user it seems to be on.

    Just my guess.

    Just now i had some update from Origin and it works again! Again, thanks for all the help🙂
