Hello everyone,
Don't know if this solution was already posted. I also had a language issue after repairing the game through Origin.
I remember quite well setting the language to English when installing the Sims 4 from the DVD. I played for a month in English.
But then I tried to repair it through Origin and it switched to French since my Origin settings were in French.
After many unsuccessful attempts (uninstalling and reinstalling, changing the locale language in regedit), I uninstalled the game through Windows configuration panel. And when I opened Origin, I was offered to download the game.
That's when I was asked in which language I wanted to install the game. So I picked English. Et voilà, I can play again in the language I chose in the first place.
Way to make it easy, EA!
