City Living Not Showing Up With New Update

  I bought City Living on New Years Eve with the holiday sale.  I proceeded to play that night for around 2-3 hours and played during the day around ten days after that.  I had an apartment and my City Living game was working perfectly fine.

 I launched my Sims 4 game today, excited to see the new toddler update, and switched from my "city living" save to another save.  As I was building in that save, around 45 minutes after I started playing,  I realized that there was no City Living content in Build & Buy mode.  I exited the game and relaunched but there was still no City Living content at all, including CAS and San Myshuno.  I tried launching my "city living" save and it said that data was missing (probably the City Living pack itself since no other content was there).  I disabled Custom Content and relaunched again and again, sill no City Living.  I search online, deleted some cache folders, checked if it was installed (it was), and eventually went to EA help live chat.  I was told that apparently several people have been having this issue with the new update.  I'm extremely upset because I love ALL the City Living content and toddlers but don't want to play the game just in case it would mess with my saves.

  In summary,  I love this toddler update but it's messing with my game and apparently others', too.  I understand all the hard work that gets put into each piece of expansion or update, especially when it's free, but would like to see this glitch fixed soon so I can take time and enjoy my little toddlers 'cause they're extremely cute and I love them (and the teeth and new kids items) very much.

Thank you!

Also-- I have a PC.  I'm not sure if that information matter when dealing with an update bug.

    Crin--

    I did but Origin stopped responding and after about fifteen minutes I used Task Manager to close it.  I'll try repairing it again today and see how it work.

    @crinrict

    Thank you!  I relaunched yesterday after repairing and it worked.  I didn't reply yesterday because as soon as it was up, I played almost until midnight.

    Thanks again!

    I had the same problem but it happened about a week ago and I went onto orgin, it says the packs downloaded and installed and then I said to repair but it wouldn't let me and I don't know how to uninstall and then reinstall it.

    Hi there.

    Since this thread is a few years old and hasn't been updated for some time, I went ahead and locked it.

    If you still need some help with a similar issue please create a new thread when you have a chance.

    Thanks!
