Clothing missing in CAS

I'm missing all the shoes from swimming clothes in CAS, for both genders and all the age groups. It's been for some time already and unfortunately I can't say for how long and after which patch it started. But two days ago I noticed that now all the upper parts of swimming clothes for males are missing too. Tried Repairing Game in Origin - it didn't help. Tried clearing game cache - it didn't help either. Tried removing all the Mods - still it didn't help. Besides my sister who doesn't have any functional mods (I have Turbo Career, Go To School and Politics mods installed) and only has some custom content installed has just the same problem.

Please help.

    Well, you have the one for pool stuff active. If you click on the arrow (I think), there's other filters.

    What happens if you remove the pool stuff filter (click on the x), do the shoes then show up or are they completely gone from your game ?

    Try resetting your user files as described in the factory reset described in this post: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-4/FAQ-Troubleshooting-Steps-amp-Known-Issues/m-p/3621199

    You won't loose anything. Just make sure to not delete any files  and make a backup.

    Try on a new game with nothing added back first (start new game). If it works, put back your save game and try again. If it still works, you can start putting stuff back.

    • Options.ini (or just re-set all your settings manually)
    • Tray Folder
    • Screenshots/Videos/Custom music
    • Rest of the save games (leave out slot_00000001.save which is the autosave)
    • Custom content like clothing, hair, skins, make up ....
    • Mods (one by one, making sure they all still work)

    The rest does not need putting back, cause they are mostly cache files that recreate or log files that are not needed for the game.

    Tried resetting my game just now. It hasn't helped: the clothing I mentioned is still missing ☹️

    Does this also happen on a new game or only on an existing one ?

    Did you try a new one before putting anything back ? Are you sure there are no other filters active ?

    I can't really check how it is in my own game atm but I've not noticed anything unusual afair

    I did start a new game and the problem was still there.

    Though I'm not sure I understand what you mean by having other filters active.

    Yes! I removed the pool stuff filter and I think it helped. Now I can find step-ins and pool suitable t-shirts among other clothes.

    So it seems the problem has something to do with filtering in CAS.
