Corrupted Game File Won't Let Me Start The Game

Hello,

After updating my game for the mandatory update we need to have for the game to work, my game isn't working. I'm getting that a file is corrupted.

I don't have any custom content or game packs, and I didn't install through Origin, but I'm playing through a linked EA account on Steam, if that helps. I'm playing on PC.

Does anyone know how to fix the problem?

I'm getting an error message along the lines of this:

     Unable to start:

     Cannot start because the below file appears to be corrupted. Please repair or reinstall the game via Origin.

     C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\The Sims 4\Data\Client\ClientDeltaBuild0.package
