Cottage Living bonus DLC missing MONTHS after playing with it.

Product: The Sims 4
Platform: PC Windows
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? Idk the newest update as of November 7th 2021 (date I'm posting)
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? all
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I bought Cottage Living back in August of 2021. I had access to the bonus DLC until recently. My PC broke and I had to get a new one. And for some reason, the game is not registering that I had bought cottage living MONTHS ago and is considering the logic that "Since this PC is new, then they must have just bought this pack too, so no bonus DLC for you!"

I WANT MY BIKE BACK!

    But you're wrong. You're plain wrong. Sorry to be a little mean.
    I went to EA Help. First I got spoken to by Flavia, who told me she could reactivate my content. A month later, I still did not have the content.

    I emailed EA Help. I got a reply from Harishankar, who told me actually, no, we can't give you a manual readdition.

    I sent Harishankar definitive proof that I bought Cottage Living before the 2nd of September.

    Another person, Abhishek, told me again that no manual readdition was able. I emailed him querying "wait, really? even though i should have it?" and he just linked me to three things:
    - repair/restore games on Origin

    - installing with a disc (LOL)
    - make older programs compatible with windows 10 (MEGALOL)

    none of these could logically work and this all happened in October. I still do not have the Gnome-on-the-Go bonus content.

    this was my first experience with EA Help. And one hell of a disappointing one.

    My scenario is a little different - I had bought CL through a key reseller in August of '21 and never got my bonus content. Annoying as hell.

    I'm going to email them again right now. I'll get back to you all when they reply.

    Hey @cjshroom

    I can definitely understand the frustration with this, but missing content and other account issues are not something we can look into here on Answers HQ. We don't have the tools to investigate this directly, I'm afraid. 

    Hopefully the EA Help team can get this sorted out for you. I'll also send up some feedback on your previous cases to see if we can help prevent this sort of confusion from happening again. 

  • Yeah. I know. Currently they're telling me to contact CDKeys to get it fixed, but I don't think that's going to work whatsoever.
