I just bought the cottage living game pass and it says that I have it installed but nothing appears in my game. I have tried closing then opening the game and restarting my laptop but nothing has worked. When I had bought stuff off of origin I never had this problem but I suddenly do with the Ea app.

and repair the game: open your game library, hover over the Sims 4 icon, click the three dots, and select Repair.
If that doesn't help, please list your game version number. Load the game to the Main Menu, where you can choose to load a save or start a new one, and look along the bottom of the screen or in the lower-right area. Please list the entire version number, i.e. 1.xx.xxx.xxxx.
