Course game
Hi, I have the game and it keeps crashing, I have the message that keeps popping up. Please, I need your help
@Roeesofer It's easier to read in English, thanks, but the three Program entries still make me think you really need to run a virus scan.
And no, I can't take control of your computer and fix it. In fact, that's a dangerous thing to ask for outside of an official and very strictly supervised support channel (e.g. Microsoft or Lenovo). I wouldn't do anything to damage your computer, but you can't be sure of that from your perspective.
The virus scan will pretty much run itself; you just need to set it up.
.
@Roeesofer Try connecting your computer to a different network, for example using your phone as a mobile hotspot. (Make sure it's using data, not your home wifi.) Please also let me know if you've ever installed Malwarebytes on this computer before now.
Never mind, that's good. Let me know the results of the scan.
.
@Roeesofer Okay, please run it a second time, just to be thorough, and post the results. Then restart your computer, open only the EA App and Sims 4, and see if you can play. Please test in a new save first, and if that works, try one of your existing saves.
.
@Roeesofer The results show that Outbyte is still installed on your computer. Did you tell Malwarebytes not to remove it? If so, please let Malwarebytes get rid of it. If you tried to do that and it's still installed, that's a different issue.
.
It works on one computer, only on this computer it doesn't, until today I did it like that, I downloaded to two computers and it worked properly on both
@Roeesofer Are you saying the save works now, or that it still doesn't work on this computer? Are you now testing with your existing save, or a new one? If you haven't tried a new save, please do so now and let me know how it runs.
@Roeesofer Just so we're on the same page here, please move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop. Open the game, which will create a new folder with no content. Don't add any of your old content back to it; just start a new save and let me know whether it crashes.
Please also post a new dxdiag, so I can go over it again, and let me know how much memory Sims 4 and your system overall are using according to the Task Manager. You can post a screenshot or just list the numbers.
dxdiag
@Roeesofer Okay, please increase the size of the page file on your computer, as described here (option three):
https://www.elevenforum.com/t/manage-virtual-memory-paging-file-in-windows-11.8618/
Set the minimum to 12000 and the maximum to 16384, save, and restart your computer.
If that doesn't help, please go back to the Lenovo site I mentioned before:
https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/solutions/ht510152
Let Lenovo detect your system or enter your serial number, choose the manual update option, and link me that driver download page. I'd like to compare the list to what your computer has installed right now in case you need to update or replace some of the drivers. The downloads page doesn't contain any information about your own computer, just the overall model.
The game works, thanks for all the help
@Roeesofer Good to hear. Let me know if you need any more help.
