@mM_0thh Your dxdiag lists some generic Windows errors, and it's a good idea to clean those up even if they have nothing to do with the Sims 4 crashes. So please run a couple of basic checks of your Windows system files:
- Hit Windows key-X
- Choose either “PowerShell (Administrator)” or “Windows Terminal (Administrator),” whichever option is offered
- Inside the window that appears, copy and paste “DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth” without quotes, and enter
- The system will start validating soon. If it throws an error, please list it here
- After it reaches 100%, hit Windows key-X again
- Again, choose “PowerShell (Administrator)” or “Windows Terminal (Administrator)”
- Inside the window, copy and paste “sfc /scannow” without quotes, and enter
- Post the message you receive here
Restart your computer, hit Windows key-i, select Update & Security, and click the box to check for updates. If any install, restart again afterwards.
Please also disable Game Mode and Game Bar, both under Windows Settings > Gaming.
If that doesn't help, please uninstall all of your Razer software. It may be sufficient to uninstall and reinstall the apps, but please do test with none of them present. It's worth disconnecting the Razer microphone during this test too; you can add it back later, in a separate test.
Hi
My game was fine. Like the poster never had a problem with crashes but sinces yesterday's update (6th March) my game is crashing every few minutes. I lost over two hours work today, silly me forgot to save as I'm not used to crashes and it was all gone.
The only mod or cc I use is MCC Command Centre. I don't use CC.
I removed that from the game but the crashes are still happening. So I've gone from super happy simmer to game unplayable.
Can anyone please help?
Thank you.
Problem Solved. Deleted Cache, Repaired Game and deleted Online Thumbnails it's working ok now thanks.
