crashing to desktop
so i got a new pc as my old one blue screened on me and fully died. so today i restarted my sims world. in build mode it was fine. was able to play for hours while building. soon as i got on to gamep...

@christopld56 Your dxdiag shows a few errors related to the Nvidia graphics driver. Since you already have the most recent driver, you'll need to do a clean uninstall and reinstall. Here's how:
Download a fresh copy of the newest driver directly from Nvidia:
https://www.nvidia.com/Download/driverResults.aspx/187098/en-us
When installing the driver, run it as an admin: right-click on the download and select "Run as administrator." Restart your computer after it's done and before trying to play.
If you still have crashing issues, please post a fresh dxdiag.
