So I wanted to create a new family, only when I open Create a Sim nothing it there. The sim, the traits thing, and the things at the top corner (gallery, ect) all come up, but the only one thing that actually works is the "downloadable content". I can't change the hair, eye color, clothes, or anything other than the normal click and drag to change features.
Are you using mods in your game ? If so, please remove them

Try right clicking the game in Origin, and choose 'repair game'.
Do you have any mods or CC (custom content)? Try taking that out.

I am having the same problem but I need try and delete all my mods but it won't let me quit the game either.
Use the big button on your computer to turn it off then on again.
wont let me do anything except traits, name and ages
