@Kattoinette I tested: made a new folder and save, placed a sim on Torendi Tower, let the game run for a couple of sim days. No bees, or attacks or deaths. I found a couple of reports of this issue, but no explanation.
Since it doesn't happen in a new save for you either I am inclined to think that it is caused by a mod, or a combo of mods. I would suggest you post in the thread I linked asking the OP if they have any knowledge which mod caused it for them. If it happens in a save that has never seen mods or CC you can make a bug report in the bug section; otherwise you need to contact the modders for your installed mods asking them.
To try to fix the issue I read that moving sims to another house/build helped.

@Kattoinette You can always make a bug report for the issue. I cannot find any official information on what is acceptable when it comes to reporting bugs on modded games. My personal advice would be to see if it happens in a new user folder and save in that, before reporting it. You can also look through the list of already reported bugs to see if anyone already have.
Did you ask the other poster to see if you share any common mods or if they knew which mod caused it in their save?
Oh, and of course bees come with the bee hive item and can sting the sim; but I focused on bee attacks causing death. Maybe if you post a picture of it when it happens, to clear up any language misunderstanding.
