Crime Map unclickable

I chose detective as a career for my sim, and in his first day he had to travel through the map, and I just couldn't click on it, everything else around worked, just not the map. Now, I tried: deleting and re-buying it, restarting my game, "repairing" it through Origin, replacing the lot for one from the gallery, started a new game to see if there was something wrong with the current save, nothing worked. Is there a fix for this?
