[CURRENT ISSUE] Patch Update endlessly looping

Problem Origin alerted me of a new patch but after I update, the game just wants to update again like an endless loop. Cause Probably some other mess-up in Origin. This issue now also see...

Been trying to update the sims 4 for the last 3 hours on my windows 10 computer with no dice.

I've tried:

Restarting Origin
Restarting the computer
Repairing the game files (twice now)
Clearing the origin cache files
Turned off my Antivirus (Norton 360)

Nothing has worked or helped and I'm at my wits end. I'm nervous to uninstall my sims games cuz I'm worried something else will go wrong.
