[CURRENT ISSUE] Patch Update endlessly looping

Problem Origin alerted me of a new patch but after I update, the game just wants to update again like an endless loop. Cause Probably some other mess-up in Origin. This issue now also see...

I only get a "update your game" over and over again. I update the game, try to start it, and then I'm promted to update it again. I have repeated this 20 times now. I've booted the computer, restarted the computer, restarted Origin over and over. But it has just stopped after todays update.

    @crinrict Thanx. I'm on it! (Involuntarily b/c I tried to empty the cache, and accidentally deleted Origin. *lol*)

    YES, that fixed the issue. (Don't know if the game has been updated though, but minor crisis averted)

      @FruLangedal you can check your version in the game. if it says 1.71 on the right hand (bottom), you're all updated.
