How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? Version 1.105.345.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Every piece of DLC released to this point on 3/13/24
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? It literally happens when I open the game every single time.
What happens when the bug occurs? All of the assets from the horse ranch DLC are corrupted. Every CAS asset has the broken question mark cover on it and ruins the sim, and every trait from this pack dosen't show up in the traits panel or in the menu to add the traits. Every build/buy asset is shown in the menu as a blank white square with a red X drawn over it and wont show up in game, as well as the horse model for when I try to add a horse to my household being empty with the only tab on the side in CAS to edit it being the coat markers, and with it not working and showing a blank screen. The nectar making skill is completely broken as well, and will not work since I don't have any of the build/buy assets, and nectar is not shown as an option to drink at bars.
What do you expect to see? This fixed. I mean, the entire DLC for this is completely broken, and unusable in any way, shape, or form,. The world of chestnut ridge wont even let me place a household in. The entire pack needs to be fixed on my computer.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. The moment I downloaded the Crystal Creations DLC and the first update for it.
I have no additional; information, I'm just so disappointed that my favorite pack that I spend good money on is completely unusable.

Have you tried a game repair?
It also seems to me that your issue sounds similar to the issues detailed in this thread, though the issues on that thread seem to be being experienced on Mac, rather than PC.
Hi! I'm SimmerStar4 (they/them). I'm not an expert on game issues, so don't take me as one! I'm just a Sims player who wants to try and help fellow players, and who finds game bugs and issues interesting.
