[CURRENT ISSUE] Sims 4 doesn't start - No Error Message (Patch 1.68.154)

I’ve tried every solution available and my game won’t even start. I hit play, the screen goes back to my desktop and then Origin pops back up. The game never even starts.

    Do you use any mods or cc? @dadnwpg09 

    If so, remove them from your game,

    1. delete the localthumbcache.package file from your EA/TS4 folder, and
    2. restart your new (test) game,
    3. then a 50/50 cull method to find the broken cc/mod.

    If you don't use mods or cc, your dx.diag may help someone decipher what's going on.

    • Provide details on your dx diag once repairing your game.  Along with listing all the steps you have taken, so far.

    There is a step by step here on Clearing Cache Files (you can also move it to the desktop instead of deleting if you want to be on the safe side). 
    Another idea for you is to to a Clean Boot of your pc.
