ever since the new update and downloading the royalty expansion the game keeps crashing. I repaired the game and it works for a while and then starts doing the same. This seems to primarily happen only on Ondarion. This happens when traveling. most of the time the game will just crash instead of starting the new location.
Mine does this too. However it just seems to happen on a time basis for me. I maybe get 5-10mins of gameplay before it dies. Removing royalty and legacy fixes the problem but unhelpful since I'd like to play it
same but mine jsut crashes when it feelss like may be a few mints may be before i even get to the menu

Could you post your Computer's DxDiag?
If you are using mods/cc, make sure to remove them and test without.
Not sure how to do that on MacBook Pro. A partial solution that I have found was that I completely uninstalled the game for the first time in years and re-downloaded the game plus all my expansions and now I can travel around. The game does still randomly quit out on me but only. a couple times a day.
I haven't been playing with mods because the game has been too unstable and I don't want to add to the instability.
