I was playing my game just a day ago and when I come back to play it today, it's completely gone. The screen shots a s everything are still there, but my save is gone. I'm really frustrated, I put a lot of time and work into this legacy. I have no idea where to even start to get everything back.
Has this happened to anyone else? What do I do?

My saves are also all completely gone. I have never used OneDrive and have not installed it. Even the template I've used since 2017 to create my Sims is also no longer in the gallery, as well as other Sims I've created. Mods are all gone too. Six years worth of created stuff is just gone. I've already searched everywhere but couldn't find anything. I'm a bit speechless right now.
Phew, I've found the one template I've always been using, what a relieve. She's my absolute favourite template, quite like a holy grail in sim creating. The saves are still gone, but it's not so bad, as the most important thing is the template xD
@Atalantana I'm sorry to hear that most of your content has disappeared. I know it doesn't help now, but in the future, consider making external backups of your critical files so you're never at the mercy of a computer issue again.
Speaking of computer issues, it's worth running the Malwarebytes scan described in the first post on page one. I'm not saying your computer has a virus, only that this is a good reason to check. Feel free to post the log here if you'd like me to read it.
