Steam doesn't have access to launch The Sims 4

Question

I had The Sims 4 installed via Origin(now EA). It had worked. I bought The Sims and The Sims 2 on Steam, and it automatically installed a second The Sims 4. Wanting to make things easier, I uninstalled The Sims 4 from the EA app, installed from Steam, and linked both accounts when booting the game. Now I keep getting the error in the picture. How do I fix this? Please note, I have removed all Sims 4 folders from the original install location, changed the EA app install location so it would recognize the Steam install, and still get this.

locke_stryfe&nbsp; You're the third person I've seen with this issue after buying Sims 1 and 2, although the others didn't already own Sims 4.&nbsp; So I'm trying to gather some info.&nbsp; Please let me know what country you're in.&nbsp; If you use a VPN, try disabling it.
Additionally, try again to launch Sims 4, through Steam, and when it fails, please create an EA App error report, as described here:

Post the report ID in a reply here, and I'll send it on.
