So I just checked and the large folder is "Starfield". On a side note, does this mean anything. I found a BUNCH of Sims 4 saves/"scratch" files in my recycling bin. Is that possibly it?
@Pro-boxer-Ryan The scratch folder only exists while Sims 4 is running and stores some data about the current save. So I don't think anything inside would be a viable save, but it won't hurt to try. Just make sure whatever file you test has the appropriate name: Slot_ followed by an eight-digit hexidecimal (0 to 9, a to f) number followed by .save , with nothing else.
@Skatki This is not the correct folder; Sims 4 looks for its user data in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4. Here's how to find the full file path:
