[CURRENT ISSUE] Sims 4 saves/user content disappearing (PC)

Hey

So, I changed some parts in my computer and when I opened it again - opened my EA account and updated my game. All the progress I had made before the change was gone.

I don't know if it because, the change of computer parts deleted the saved files in my documents (I followed an EA help-thing, that said, I could restore a game through my documents) or if there should be some saved files through my account?

Is all my progress lost? 😢
