@jpkarlsen
I followed your instructions. The Sims opened asking me to start a new game. I searched everywhere for an option to tell it to look for my saved games from the folder I copied them to, but there was no option. I had no choice but to put them back in my OneDrive folder. Now I'm waiting for it to sync and hoping that it works because otherwise I've lost all my saved games like I was afraid would happen. Thanks for trying to help, but yeah... that doesn't work.

Like I told you, you needed to copy them from OneDrive to the newly created folder.

Right. I copied them from OneDrive to a new folder. Then I opened The Sims. And like I said, the game only had an option to start a new game. There was no option I could find anywhere to tell the game to look for my saved files in the new folder I saved them to. So I can move them around all I like, but there's no option in the game to go find them, so it doesn't work. 🤷♀️

@Aggeloi Use this method to find the folder where the game is looking for Saves: https://sims4.crinrict.com/eng/2018/07/how-to-find-your-user-folder/ . Then copy them into that folder.
