@firtsscotch thank you @puzzlezaddict i was very frustrated but i found the saves on my PC. The game didnt recognize them anymore because the language switched when i reinstalled it. I had an empty folder in english and one with my saves in my native language... the 'free' stuff is still not working but at this point i am just happy i didnt lose anyhing

@firtsscotch That's great to hear. You should be able to copy over the UserSettings.ini file from the folder in your native language and get all the event-related content back, but let me know if it doesn't work. I haven't tested swapping files between languages, only between computers using the same language.
Please do make a backup copy of UserSettings.ini when testing, in case the old one needs to be edited before it works in the new language. Placing it in the correct Sims 4 folder without an edit may overwrite the copy you move.
