My daughters play The Sims4 pretty regularly. It was last played 3 days ago with no issues. Tonight when one of them logged in, they saw that all of the worlds are gone. I checked the saves folder and it is empty. All of their packs are there and appear to be working. I did a repair on the game and it didn't seem to come up with any errors. All looks good. There haven't been any other changes to the computer since the other day. The hours played still shows that they (combined) have over 2100 hours in the game. Does anyone have any tips on what can be done to get their worlds back?
If anyone can help with a solution, I'll be most appreciative. Anything that can be done to keep 3 teenage girls happy!
Problem solved. I found that the save files were moved. Apparently the game had been saving files to One Drive (which I don't use) so when I was asked if I wanted to clear those files the other day, I figured "Why not?" I found all the files and copied them back into the local save file. Problem solved, at least for now!
