I've had my copy of the get to work DLC completely disappear, i've used it to make the sims I play with and therefore need it to use certain items. Does anyone have any advice on how to get it back without having to pay for a new copy?
@dkennedy42 This thread is for user data, like saves, disappearing, not for missing DLC. Having said that, did you have an EA Play subscription at some point that might have expired? Get to Work is free with EA Play, and this entitlement can override the player's owned copy of the pack. So when the subscription ends, so does access to GtW.
At any rate, if you only ever had GtW through a subscription, yes, you'll need to buy it outright. If you already bought it at some point, you'll need to contact EA customer support to ask what happened to it. In the case of an expired subscription, support just needs to remove the EA Play version from your account so you can access the version you bought.
