Hello,
I last played SIMS 4 on Feb 23rd. Occasionally while I was playing the game would disconnect from the EA App and I would get the above error code. I was able to save my game and sign off without any problems.
Today, March 9th, I was forced to download the latest Sims 4 update. After the update the game loaded to the main page where you can resume your last played game. A household that I've never played was showing. When I clicked on load games all my previous games were gone. My worlds have been reset to the original worlds. All my households and houses were missing. I've been playing SIM 4 for 7 years and now all my games have been wiped out. This is beyond frustrating.
- How do you download your previous games from the cloud? I know the games are save to the cloud.
- Does anyone have the steps for how this is done?
- How do I contact EA Sims Technical Support to have them download my game from the cloud?
I'm using a Windows 11 PC. I have never used mods or cc on PC. Please help!

hjansky Sorry for the late reply; I was away from the forums for a while.
Sims 4 doesn't support cloud saving, so your saves won't be anywhere on EA servers. If you've uploaded content to the Gallery, it should still be available, but that of course only covers households and lots, not whole saves.
If OneDrive is running on your computer, or it was at some point, you can look for your data on onedrive.com, both in My Files and the Recycle Bin. Maybe you'll get lucky.
Aside from that, you can search your PC, as described here:
[CURRENT ISSUE] Sims 4 saves/user content disappearing (PC) | EA Forums - 11838402
If your saves aren't in OneDrive and aren't hiding elsewhere on your computer, there's unfortunately nowhere else to look.

puzzlezaddict Hi, My previous saved files were working fine before that major update in Feb of this year. I wasn't the only person who lost everything and had to start over. I've never had this issue in all my years (12+) playing Sims. Your reply didn't provide an answer to why that update wiped everything out.

You didn't address the "Something went wrong" message that I continue to get periodically. What causes that to occur?
