Hi! I've been trying to play the sims 4 recently but it wouldn't open. This was after i moved some cc into the mods folder so I thought I might just have too much and took some out, but it still wouldn't open. After messing around a bit it finally DID open, but everything I had was gone. Builds, sims, saves, and all of the mods and cc I installed were completely deleted. I had a lot of things, and I DO have a recent backup but it didn't do anything when I tried to use it. Is there a way I can get my stuff back?
tunainsideofacan It sounds like the backup files at least might not be in the correct location, as in, the Sims 4 folder the game is currently reading. Here's how to find it:

If you find them anywhere on your PC, or on onedrive.com, you can restore them as described, and they should work. Just make sure they're named properly in addition to being in the correct location.
